Permanent Cosmetic Makeup also known as Semi-Permanent and Micropigmentation, is an innovative procedure, in which carefully applied Hypo-allergenic pigments are implanted using disposable tiny micro-needles into the dermal layer of the skin (unlike permanent tattoos which go much deeper).

Individual Consultation

It is important that a full and comprehensive consultation takes place before the treatment commences. Consultation forms include general consent, medical information  including any contra-indications will be discussed to make sure it is safe to continue. Faye may request written consent from your Doctor if you have any serious ailments. Not everyone is a suitable candidate for permanent cosmetics and Faye will only carry out procedures when she is satisfied that any contra-indications do not affect the wellbeing of the client.  

Whether you want treatments for your eyebrows, lips or eyes, or you are undecided, Faye offers you a complete and detailed consultation, exploring your potential and discussing your hopes and expectations.. We will discuss which procedure(s) you would like and what you want the end result to look like. The colour will be discussed and tried on your skin. If it is eyebrows or lip liner, an outline will be drawn on, so you can see it in advance and approve that this meets your wishes. When you are confident of both the outline and the colour, the treatment can commence.

Treatment  The treatment consists usually of two sessions: the initial application of your Permanent Make-up and a follow-up retouch session 1 to 2 months later. This retouch, which is included in the price, is used to perfect the work and make sure you're completely happy with the end result.

Although the application of Permanent Make-up is not completely pain free, discomfort during your treatment can be kept to a minimum with the use of topical anaesthetic creams. This can be discussed when you make an enquiry/booking.
For the treatment the best machine currently on the market by natural enhancements ‘The Cosmedic’ is used. This machine uses one-time use needle modules which are discarded after use, thus ensuring no cross-contamination. Faye work adheres to all strict hygiene requirements.

Your treatment takes approximately 2 hours including the consultation.

Eyebrows Eyebrows can be changed in a variety of ways. For example, a short eyebrow   can be lengthened, if the hair is too thin and sparse then they can be given   a fuller look and asymmetrical brows can be corrected, etc. Brows can even be   given an anti–ageing lift effect, simply by lifting the ends of drooping   brows. Whatever your needs, these will be discussed and drawn on in pencil   prior to your procedure, so you can approve of the eyebrow design for your   individual needs. Hair does not have to be removed during this procedure. In fact it is   preferred to work within the natural brow as much as possible, however, if a   section of the brow hair was causing a droop effect (the end) then Faye may   suggest removing a few hairs in that section to create the desired shape and   youthful effect. Hair strokes will give a very natural and soft look, the brow is built up   hair by hair. As brows will fade with time, to keep them looking at their   best, yearly touch ups will bring the colour back up to their full potential

Eyeliner and Eyelash enhancements

Different looks can be created with Permanent Make-up. You can choose if you just want to define your eyes a bit more with an eyelash enhancement, or more defined with a top and bottom line.

The eyelash enhancement will give the lashes a thicker look by applying a soft and natural look between the lashes creating definition, this really opens up the eye but is still very soft.
If you are used to wearing liner then a more definite line can be created, this can be created in varying colours and thickness.

Lip Liner - This procedure gives fullness to the lips and depending on the colour chosen, can look anything from very natural to very obvious.

Lip Blush only - This is when the colour is taken into the lip itself only. This gives a colour wash through the lip, it is subtle and only requires a lip gloss to give a lovely look. This is especially good for anyone with full lips already but who would like a bit more colour.

Lip Liner with a Lip Blush - This is the most popular enhancement. It has all the benefits of the lip liner but it softens the look as the colour is taken into the lip itself. You also don’t have to worry that your lips are ‘naked’ after eating as you have permanent hint of colour through your lips. Pale lips that have lost their colour and lip line will now have a more youthful appearance.
